Upgrade Huawei P8 Lite to B170 [ALE-L21]

Huawei P8 Lite is one of the best phones Huawei had launched in 2015. Its performance is flawless. Currently many users are being using 5.1 Lollipop on their P8 Lite. In this tutorial, you will learn to install Marshmallow on P8 Lite.

Disclaimer:

• Firstly, I'm not responsible for your phone is bricked or whatever happens. This version is a tested. Perform  a NANDROID BACKUP of ur current first first.

Requirements:

• Update Files
• Battery should be above than 70%

Installation Procedure:

1. Firstly, check your firmware version. If it is already B170 then you don't need this tutorial.
2. Backup your all personal data.
3. Make a folder in your SD-Card or Internal Memory
4. Rename it to dload and Place the downloaded update.zip in that folder
5. Go to Settings > Update.
6. Tap on the menu button and select Local Update
7. There will be a file around about 1 GB named C432B170
8. Tap it and perform update
9. You have to be patient because it takes about 10-15 minutes
10. After it is completed, your phone will be rebooted automatically
11. Congratulations you're now on Lollipop B170
12. Enjoy & Cheers

In case your phone is bricked, then you must follow following procedure

1. Plug your SD-Card to your Computer
2. Make a folder in your SD-Card
3. Rename it to dload and Place the downloaded update.zip in that folder
4. Turn your device off and then boot by holding Vol down + Vol up + Power at the same time. 
5. Release the Power button upon vibration and wait the upgrade to start.
6. You have to be patient because it takes about 10-15 minutes
7. After it is completed, your phone will be rebooted automatically
8. Congratulations you're now on Lollipop B170
